For your consideration we offer “The Long Hidden Friend” by Johann Georg Hohman. Printed in 1820. It is in the original German. Considered by many to be the first American grimoire. It is a compilation of cures and protections for many dangers and ailments. Excellent condition for age. More picture available on request as well as price .

An important piece of cultural history. Many of the cures were pulled from an even earlier text “the little book of the Gypsies”. Powwow, magic, folk healing
